We all know that we should be drinking water and lots of it.  It is isn’t everyone’s drink of choice but our bodies need it.  If you add in fruits and herbs though our H2O will pump up with flavour, adding a dose of vitamins making your water far from dull.

Water alone has so many benefits like hydrating your body, aiding weight loss, wrinkle prevention, and it helps you maintain healthy skin and nails.  When you add fruits, vegetables, or herbs you’ll be replenished with all sorts of vitamins and minerals. This is great for daily use and perfect for the pre-workout energiser or to quench that post-workout thirst.

Just pop some fruit, veggies, or herbs in your water for 30 minutes to soak.  Here are some great infusion ideas for you:

  • Lemons aid in digestion and loosen up your toxins;
  • Ginger kicks sickness in the butt and gives your immune system a boost;
  • Strawberries are packed with antioxidants and they’re oh so sweet;
  • Mint leaves not only freshen breath but are filled with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. All that fibre, vitamin A, and potassium will make plain water drinkers green with envy;
  • Pineapple helps with inflammation;
  • Cucumbers contain vitamin C, vitamin A, iron, calcium, vitamin K and potassium.  They aid weight loss … go cucumbers!
  • Oranges help to regulate blood circulation and are loaded with vitamin C
