From the moment that we met Rhys Bennett, we knew that he just HAD to be a part of the 5.4 Goal Support Team! He is a is a true believer in what we do, he lives and breathes health and fitness, and has a wonderful ‘sunny side up’ enthusiasm for life!
We sat down with Rhys to chat all things fitness, health and of course, food!
Tell us a bit about yourself …
I’m 26 and I am from Brisbane. I’ve just moved back from country NSW in February where I was a coal miner for 4-5 years. I have returned home to Brisbane to begin an exciting new chapter in my life!
What was the moment you were inspired to get fit and healthy?
I have always been active and good at sports growing up, but i was always rail-thin. I first stepped foot in a gym when I was 17/18 because i was determined to add some muscle to my frame for confidence reasons. I absolutely fell in love with the grind and the journey and haven’t looked back since. I am continually motivated and inspired by inspiring others.
What advice would you give to guys and girls who want to live a happier and healthier life?
It all starts with your mindset. Wake up every day determined to have the best day of your life. Be grateful! Stop for a moment each day and take in the world around you! From a health standpoint … get moving!
What does a typical day look like for you?
WEEKDAYS: Wake Up. Work. Gym. Catch ups or Relax. Sleep.
WEEKEND: Wake Up. Beach. Gym. Relax. Always something on at night. Maybe sleep…

Hearing about customer’s weight loss results is enough to brighten anyone’s day! One of my absolute favourites is Nicole. She lost 10kgs in 6 weeks by sticking closely to the 8 week challenge. I love my phone catch ups with her supporting her with some fitness tips.
The most important message you would like to share with the 5.4 fam re their health and fitness is …
Nothing will change until you do. The only limitations we have are the ones we place upon ourselves. So I’d encourage everyone to just go for it!
