Is winter a bad or good time to get in shape?
It’s always a good time to get in shape!
Whilst everyone is hibernating, implementing a simple diet during winter will help you bring out that summer body in time to show it off 🙂
Why is it so much harder to work out and eat well in winter?
It’s certainly harder to get out of bed in the morning, that’s for sure. The cold doesn’t help either!
Any tips for how to overcome the winter blues?
To overcome this, simple goal setting and mental focus is all it takes!
Setting yourself little goals makes the world of different. For some of our clients, fitting in to a goal dress or for some guys, looking good in a suit is all they’re looking for and this is exemplified by our company modo, ‘look good, feel good, I am confident’.
What are some winter foods people should avoid?
We all know what to avoid, it’s not rocket science. Let’s be honest, that tub of ice cream or block of chocolate before bed isn’t exactly the best choice, is it?
In saying that, staying on track is sometimes hard, especially breaking out of old habits. So, we always suggest changing over things progressively, tone back on the naughty treats each day. If it’s sugars in your coffee or chocolate that you can’t help then, try each week to minimise your consumption.
