Our meals are designed and cooked with the highest quality ingredients. In some cases, components of meals include lactose, soy, gluten, nuts and potential other allergens. With this in mind, we do not use any seafood and use only free range/hormone free beef & chicken. Black Food Container: Reuse for storing small things like pins, nails etc or recycle in your household recycle bin. 

Meal Cardboard Sleeve: Put it in for recycling in your household recycle bin.

Outer Cardboard Pack: Reuse for storage or flatten and place in your household recycle bin.

Silver Cool Cover: Reuse the cool cover for craft, children's project or as a protective, insulating packaging material. The cool cover can also be deposited at any one of the 1700 soft plastics recycling collection points located at Coles and Woolworths supermarkets across Australia.

Ice Pack: Reuse as ice packs. If you don’t wish to reuse, once they are at room temperature, snip a corner, tip the liquid into your garden and then dispose off the cover at any one of the 1700 soft plastics recycling collection points located at Coles and Woolworths supermarkets across Australia.

Yes, it is a little effort, but did you know that the deposited materials at the collection centres are recycled and made into outdoor furniture, decking, bollards and signage as well as builders’ film, garbage bags, mattress bags and other packaging products?

PREPARATION

Meals are cooked and prepared by qualified chefs and catering staff within a fully certified kitchen.

Meals are blast chilled, sealed frozen and delivered. Cooking is therefore not necessary, just reheating.

Meals should be stored in a freezer (please check expiry date).

The expiry date is your best friend! Our meals can be kept for up to 12 months in the freezer, however our meal plans are prepared and delivered weekly, so the expiry date is the best way to be sure.

If you don’t have a microwave, don’t stress! You can take your meals out of the freezer a day in advance and leave them in the fridge to defrost.  

Place the meal contents in an oven proof dish and reheat in the oven - be sure to remove all packaging. Heating times vary for each meal, it is best to warm at a low heat approx. 140-150 degrees and heat for 4-5 minutes then check. 

Meals do not require any condiments or other ingredients. We try our best to keep all meals clean and low in excess sauce/sodium/sugar/fats.

HEALTHY EATING

We have many pregnant and breastfeeding women on our programs. We recommend our ‘Active’ plan whilst pregnant or breastfeeding because they include carbs. However, it is important to always consult your physician or current doctor before undertaking any program or supplementation. 
Alcohol is a personal choice and we understand the temptation. With this is mind we recommend you cut down or cut out alcohol use during the program, as well as soft drinks.

At FivePointFour we try to make meals specific to your lifestyle and detailed goals. Try to consume all meals to reach goals more effectively.

Yes, meal plans are designed to help you reach your goals. It’s not unrealistic to expect you to eat 4 times a day.

You’re completely free – woop woop! We have absolutely no lock in contracts and you can choose your frequency of meals. Orders can be cancelled or put on hold anytime up until midnight Sunday the week prior to your next scheduled payment. Food couriers will deliver all meals to the address listed on your nominated delivery day. If meals are not delivered please email us at admin@fivepointfour.com.au 

*Please be patient and wait until after 6pm, as sometimes meals can arrive between 5-6pm! 

The meals are delivered in a fully recyclable cardboard outer carton, complete with insulation and ice packs to ensure meals are kept frozen. These can be safely left in a shaded spot for up to 8 hours. Feel free to specify a secure area where you would like your delivery to be left when you place an order. 

Should your meals arrive DEFROSTED please report this to us immediately. Do not eat these meals.  
Meals should be stored away in the freezer within a 6-8-hour window from time of delivery. Keep frozen – store at or below -18ºCIf thawed, keep refrigerated below 4ºC for no longer then 48 hours.

PAYMENT

You can pay for meals with VISA, Master Card, AMEX debit/credit cards or via PayPal. Please be assured that all payments are processed via a secure and verified system called BrainTree. 

A minimal processing charge of 1.8% for all credit cards and 3.8% for AMEX cards will be applicable. 

Please note there are no processing fees for payments paid via PayPal.

As we cook meals one week in advance, we request that all changes to your account such as cancellations or holds be completed by midnight Sunday to keep the food waste print down. Once you’re signed up, meals will arrive based on your nominated plan (weekly, fortnightly, monthly). 
Upon registration you can select to have your meals delivered once off, weekly, fortnightly or monthly. If you have selected any of the ongoing options; payments and deliveries will process automatically until cancellation or suspension of account is made by you.

It is important to ensure sufficient funds are available in your nominated bank account for a successful payment. 

If a payment dishonours you will receive an email notification and will have a short time frame to contact 5.4 admin team on 1300 343 656 or admin@fivepointfour.com.au to rectify your dishonoured payment.  

We will attempt to contact you, however if we do not receive a response this will affect your delivery for that week and you will need to contact us to organise an alternate solution.
